1992년에 처음으로 PBS에 출현해서 지금까지 사랑받고 있는 Barney라는, 소율이도 너무 좋아하는 TV프로가 있다. 등장인물들이 죄다 유치하게 생겨서 처음엔 뭐 그저그런 애들 티비프로구먼 했다가, 출현진들의 노래를 듣고 감동하고 말았다.
Let's go to the zoo 는 Barney와 친구들 시리즈 중 우리가 처음으로 봤던 것이다. 여기 담겨있는 음악이 모두 좋아서 그 음반을 사야지 생각했는데, 다른 시리즈에 들어있는 음악들도 하나같이 좋아서 뭘사나 고민만 하다가 아무것도 못샀다 -.-;;
소율이가 제일 좋아하는 건 'Barney's colorful world'라는 제목의 라이브 공연이다. 그걸 볼 때마다 자기도 저기 공연 하는데 가고 싶대서 검색해 보았더니, 지금도 공연을 정기적으로 하고 있었다. 헌데 관람료가 여느 클래식 못지 않게 비싸고 게다가 너무 먼 곳이라 포기했다. 그래도 언젠가 한번은, 소율이랑 손 꼭 잡고 Barney 라이브 공연 보러가고 싶다.

차를 타면 라디오를 듣게 되는데 Jason Mraz의 노래는 나가는 길에 한번, 돌아오는 길에 한번씩은 꼭 나오는 것 같다. 숨죽이고 귀를 기울이게 만드는 감미로운 목소리..
나는 변변찮은 성대를 가지고 있어서, 좀 오랫동안 말을 하는 것도 힘에 부치는 사람이라
좋은 목소리를 가진 사람을 보면 참 부럽다. 남녀를 불문하고...
아름다운 목소리를 갖는 다는건 어떤 느낌일까?
라디오에서 들었던 건 I'm yours라는 노래였는데 Jason Mraz의 음악을 찾아서 듣다보니 이 Lucky라는 곡이 더 마음에 든다(끼워넣기가 안되서 아쉽).

함께 이 노래를 들으면서 YY에게 '가창력이 필요한 곡은 힘드니까, 읊조리듯 조용한 이 곡을 열심히 연습해서 노래방에서 함께 불러보자'고 했더니, 이런 곡일수록 목소리와 발음이 중요하다며 일침을...
